In the latest in our Meet The Select Door Team series, we sit down to find out what she loves to do when she’s not at work.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
I like all sorts of outdoor activities like camping, hiking trails, and fishing. I also like visiting and exploring small towns, and playing the guitar – or trying to anyway!
What made you decide to join the team?
I needed a change of pace and a new environment to ‘reboot’ my work drive and get myself motivated. I felt that Select Door and Frame presented an opportunity for me to be challenged and could bring me a different focus to my work, which has definitely been the case since I started here.
Are you an early bird or a night owl?
I’m an early birdie.
Where would you be right now if you had zero obligations and money didn’t matter?
I would love to do some volunteering around the world – specifically in my birth country The Philippines. Besides that, you could find me relaxing on my own little island in Temagami, Ontario. I’d get myself a modest cabin where I would sit by the fire and wait for my takeout to be delivered by float plane.
If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?
If I had any power, I’d pick teleportation so I could be anywhere at any time. Beam me up Scotty!
What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why?
I think that I work hard at everything that I do. I try to do everything to the best of my ability and continue to learn. With that mindset, even if I fail, at least I’ll have learned what I could do differently next time.
If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would you choose?
I’d love to trade spots with David Attenborough. His passion and love for our only home in this universe is just wonderful.
What is your favourite part of your job at Select Door?
I love being part of such a great team!
